is there any way to get a v6 in there
He asked if there was a V6 that could fit in a Civic and that was the only one I could think of that could be made to fit since it was made for compact cars and has room to spare inside the Golf engine bay. It was just some conjecture, we agreed it wouldn't be worth the work and expense of converting it over to German stuff.White93Civic said:How did we get on the topic of swapping in a VR6 engine?
Oh ok, I gotcha now. It would definitely be expensive to do something like that, but those are the things no one would expect. If you have the money to do those kinds of swaps then you can have lots of fun.klungemonger said:He asked if there was a V6 that could fit in a Civic and that was the only one I could think of that could be made to fit since it was made for compact cars and has room to spare inside the Golf engine bay. Yeah, if you've driven a VR6 you know what a great motor it is, you realize what Honda motors (as good as they are) are missing. Mountains of torque! The VR6 pulls hard from 2000 rpm. And there's a huge turbo kit that works even a stock VR6 internals (it's an iron block) that delivers 420 lb/ft torque and 378 hp!!!White93Civic said:Oh ok, I gotcha now.
