depends what you want out of it. I don't know one aftermarket exhaust thats 2.5 inches in a prelude...let alone a rsx type S engine. bigger isn't always better...cause mass air flow is dependent on gas velocity/pressure/ and temp. bigger pipe the velocity and temp goes down and so does the density making it less efficient. a smaller pipe with a straight through muffler like 2.33 or 60MM might actually be a better buy than 2.5 inch piping on an N/A car.

2 1/4 is the right size. Unless liek other people have said, you go turbo which you would get 3inch piping. just go buy a damn exuast system that goes with ur damn car and if u get custom piping go with 2 1/4
