Im just wondering what size piping is the best for top end.
Is it 2 1/4 or 2 1/2

yup but 2.5" diameter piping and aftermarket muffler of your choice will benefit your car to a degree.

also it could depend on how deep in tho modifying process he is!...Eg..cams!
