I have 97 prelude and i alrady have an Aem intake in it. I ordered a thermal r&d exhaust and i am wondering what kind of headers i should get? Also is this one of the good exhausts for my car?
yes greddy makes a header for the 4th and 5th gen H22element h22 said:i like my evo and i have the dc ceramic header, but i didn't think they made a greddy header for a 5gen? anyways, the dc ceramic is cheaper, and theres really no difference between the stainless steel and ceramic, (besides looks). peace!~
EVO = gains start at 2000 rpms and go all the way up the power band (my power extreme is very similar). there have been some problems with rust on the piping, and the noise is kinda farty from behind the car...but it sounds good from inside the cabinelement h22 said:are the gains better ??? with the N1...
here... read this!PreludeSiZero said:I heard that installing a header on a 5th gen doesn't do much at all due to the fact that their exhaust manifolds are decent.
Thermal is a good choice for an exhaust. Classic or Stealth? or are you just getting the rear section?
so if I held a turbo from a semi truck and a turbo from a mitsibishi gsx you couldn't tell me that the truck turbo would make more hp....all he is comparing is the design and size of tubing are the same....looking at it from inside and out. not exactly comparing two cars with multiple components...that is a horrible analogy.TrboH22 said:Pictures can't tell you anything though. You could take two ludes same everything on the exterior put them next to each other, and say they're exactly the same. Who's to say one isn't sprayin or boostin?
