okay im just wondering, if i put a cat-back exhaust on my car, and kept the stock muffler, would it still add hp and would the stock muffler reduce it in any way??

yes it would reduce it.. not a HUGE difference.. but it does effect it! just full catback with the muffler.. save u a lot of hassle!

Cat-back means everything from the cat backwards, which includes the muffler? chances are the stock muffler wont even bolt to the piping you buy. :confused

If you want the stock muffler to keep it quiet, but want aftermarket for flow, look into an ITR muffler and mid pipe, or even a local muffler shop pipe job, with the ITR muffler.
