Hey all! Which exhaust is the best for the S2000? And do high flow catalytic converters make any real HP gain??

i dropped by my local reliable race shop, and they say HKS and Comptech isn't that loud. As for HP gain, I wouldn't even think about it. Something minor as an exhaust will not make much of a difference. As for Amuse, they make the loudest sound for the S2K. I'm just sharing you some words from what I've heard. Hope that helps a little. BTW, HKS and Comptech is running a little over 1K if you are concern about price.

I hear Tanabe Hyper Medalion is pretty good for the S2.....but don't quote me on that!...I'm just hoping to be a future S2 owner!

Most feel that single outlet exhausts will give marginally more power. However, this is not dyno prove. A single outlet exhaust will obviously save you the most weight.

As for Amuse, they make the loudest sound for the S2K. I'm just sharing you some words from what I've heard. .

I've heard both Amuse and Spoon and I think Spoon is louder than Amuse.

Veilside makes the loudest exhaust and Amuse is louder than Spoon. Also you can gain 10 hp from exhaust. However that's running without cat and silencer.
