I always wanted to build a Ford GT-40 replica. It's identical to the original in all appreciable ways, except where newer technologies have improved it over the years (i.e. you use *new* Vette brakes in the kit, rather than the original 60's Ford brakes)

But that car is so sweet. If I had a spare $40k, that's where it would go. To a full GT-40 kit (with the Gulf oil paint scheme and everything)
