The '95 GSR was the last Integra to use OBD1, which is easier to mod around then with the 96+ OBD2 Integras. Same thing goes with the Prelude, '95 was the last year to use OBD1. Whether or not this makes it better than any of the pre '95 vtecs is beyond me...

we all know the undisputable fastest year for the lude was 1993.

damn u beat me to it. i've heard that the radiators are larger on 93's, but anyone know any other reason this would be the fastest year?

I know they might be lighter....we had weird center arm rest area thing....and the radiator thing i have no clue allthough i heard that as well....but our rims are heavier.

22lbs , compared to i think 18 for the 95ludes and up directionals....could be wrong on the year. but if you have the directionals you have 72lbs or 36lbs of unsprung weight on the power wheels.....the 93 has 44lbs.....ouch

I shed those heavy things and run 16lbs now....yayyyyyy 32....lbs of weight on my powerwheels.....also total im 64lbs....loosing a total of 8lbs from the directionals....and 24lbs less from my stock. WOW

The car will break and accelerate a lot faster....as well as the suspension efficiency will increase , letting it work easier and perform better.

come on..everyone knows that the 77 prelude is THE fastest ever made..not to mention the best looking

i think the 93-95 vtecs are the same. no prelude will be exactly like another prelude...there are differences from the factory and sooo many other factors that determine speed. get a 93-95...they are also the easiest to mod because of obdI

100% agreed

93 is the quickest....

4th G's are faster stock.
5th G's look better. Also, USDM 5th gens are all vtec's with 16" wheels. No nonvtec Ludes w/ hubbies. No offense to the 4th G's. I love em all! Just as long as it is a P R E L U D E!

actually the UNDISPUTABLE fastest year for a lude in GENERAL is 2000 but thats another argument since you cant get it

didnt i say i would be another argument technically a 2000 type-s is the fastest lude in the land but you cant get it , so technically it doesnt count but technically if youre talking prelude in general its the fastest
