im dropped about 2", should i be worried about scraping this thing..how can i protect it...and this mat sound weird but will it slow me down..i realize it weighs like 21lbs but that shouldnt be that big a deal will it??? one more thing, will my exhaust harm my kit? what can i do to prevent melting etc?

Cutting it kind of very close at 2" for the front lip OEM kit. You will find it will get scratched even at stock height once in a while and stone chips-oh well.
As to the rear-the stock exhaust and kit are designed to clear just fine. Aftermarket exhaust may sit close and need to be adjusted to clear properly-don't let the tips touch, period!

Nothing like the cringe and everyone with a kit knows about that feeling when you go over a bump and hear CRUNCH. then you cringe LOL that shit sucks. I grind my teeth when I go over bumps always afraid of scrapeing.
