I have a b20 block and a b16 head. Does anybody know any special needs for these to work together and does it have a short life expectancy(as rumors say)?

i have a b20 with b18c1 head. nothing special besides get a golden eagle vtec oil line kit. save a lot of headaches and you have to tap a hole in the head for the oil line

if you have to ask a question like this, you need to do a lot more research on lsvtec's

you may want to look into new pistons with bigger valve reliefs so no clearance issues come up.

You need to build that baby up. The B20 needs some beefing up to handle the higher revs. There is a sticky in the Hybrid/ JDM section and it should give you all you need to know about that combo. PM me as well cause i've done it.
