I'm not sure about the '91 but I think it's the same as my car. The fuel filter is a bitch to change. Even with the right tools, the space to work in is really cramped. It's tucked in on the left side of the engine and is in a small space. I would just take it to a mechanic to get it changed and let them deal with it.
As far as Sea Foam goes, read the directions on the can. You can use it as an additive for your gas.
