Ever since I got the car, wondered where I should put my gas cap when I am filling up... then a couple of weeks ago, I saw that my friend's RSX did have a gas cap holder on it! I was like wtf! I am going to get myself a free gas cap holder at my dealer soon! I'll call to see what will happen. I'll be very piss if I don't get it for free!

the first batch of them don't have it..
the newer batch of them have a little thing on the cap it self, and on the flap, it have a little thing to hold the little ball thing on the cap...
i think there were a internal service memo on that,
they probably install it next time you drop by..
that's another reason for you to stop by the dealership once in a while...
service update will be issues over time...you never know what you might miss...

You can also clamp the gas cap on the gas door, but I don't want gas dripping down my paint. Basically, the gas cap has cuts in it which allow you to slide it on the top of the door. Hard to explain, but it you tried, you would know what I mean.

They also sell some generic ones for around 3 bucks if the dealer won't do it for free.

yeah, I tried it before... didn't hold it too securely though... I guess that's why they had the new cap holder!

I went to the service department for service and asked them about the gas cap holder... the service manager didn't know about it... he owns a RSX Type S himself... he even went as far as look at 4 other RSXs on the lot... none of them have it. He says that he'll call me after he finds out more.
