this situation is around west coast area. GAS QUALITY

(regardless additives):

1. which 1 has better 87 grade quality overall:
ARCO(am pm) , SHELL/Texaco, CHEVRON, Unocal 76 ?

2. why?

3. any scientific prove ( Objectively/not IMO) ?

4. consider some of those gas stations above( Shell, chevron, Unocal 76),
offering 10 CENTS/gallon DISCOUNT, IF CASH paid .

5. ARCO (am pm) CHARGE 35 CENTS if pay with CARD ( either debit or credit).
per transaction

so, it is break even, when we pay CASH

6. 10 cents is just for transaction fee ??
not quality difference??

7. talked to an officer, he sees all kind of gas trucks , been hauling
GAS from the SAME source (distribution center).

which 1 is what??

I dont think there is any MAJOR difference between the gases that we pump. Each brand has it own addtive in it to make it burn cleaner or something. But I use Cheveron only, because I have a cheveron card.

2. why?
read number 1

3. any scientific prove ( Objectively/not IMO) ?
no scientific proof for me

There is no difference in gas when paying with CC or cash. The gas station dont switch to different gas line if you pay with cash or what ever. The reason why CASH is cheaper is because that each CC transaction you make ANYWHERE the CC company charge the vender a fee for it.

I worked at the Gas Station for at costco for a like 4 months or so. I talked to the guy that filled our gas tank everytime he comes by. He said almost all gas comes from the same place just that each gas station has its own truck and add its own addtives to it. He even showed me the paper work from Shell and cheveron that he needs to visit when he is down with our tanks.
