i know this sounds retarded, but is there any way to sway an RSX or TLS gauge cluster into a 6th gen sedan? i really dig the RSX ones, but TLS would be better than none i suppose. would gas, mph, and rpm be the same? thanks for input, i really wanna try it out

That is so retarded. :D

Really though...RSX-S I know redlines at 8K, so that wouldn't match up. Your biggest problem is getting it to fit right, but you might have a chance with the TL, a lot of stuff will directly swap (like my steering wheel).

A cheap and easy mod of the Accord one is painting the bezel. I don't know if you'll like it or not, but here's mine:

Probably not as cool as what you mentioned above, but better than stock.

i have silver faced gauges, so painting it silver wouldn't look good, i like it on yours though. i suppose i could do some other color. what i could do is paint the needles. some fingernail polish remover should take off the paint, both on the needles themselves and on the little black center point of the needles. then i could paint the needles REAL red and the center point silver or something. i suppose i'll look into that if the rsx or tls gauges don't work.

i do like your steering wheel though. how hard was it to do? did you do it yourself? what was the final cost? it looks really nice. strong work ;)

so you just told this guy that doing a full cluster swap ( a real mod that takes time and effort) was retarded and that he should just paint the bezzel???!!! i don't get it

personally i'm swapping a 97 prelude dash and cluster into my h22 accord

nah man, he was just messin with me because i put retarded in my post. at least, i'm pretty sure that's what he meant...since he put the smiley and all.

so is the prelude pretty much a direct fit, or are you gonna have to shave stuff down? thanks for the input

Yep, just messin around. :D

About the steering wheel...my buddy knows a guy at Acura, got me the wheel for $50.

Here's the write up (I didn't do the text - my buddy did, but the pics are of my car as I did it)
It's not too hard, and well worth it IMO.
