is there a way to make it so that the monitor and the tv is on? cuz so far when the tv is on.. the monitor is off and vice versa

Match resolutions....basically i think you gotta run love resolution on your monitor which sucks...unless your tv can support higher resolutions.

Try 1024X768 , or 1280X960....

yea mine only one can be on at a time.. but i was wondering if there was a way to change that..

my resolution right now is 1280 by 960

but if not.. then it's ok.. thanks though.
