yeah i had a problem like that with my 5th gen. couldn't figure what that rattling was, turned out to be just some cd cases in the glove box. 
I couldn't find it at first either, I thought it was coming from the door, and I was searching for anything loose over there (sometimes while i was driving ) I finally put my hand on the glove box door, and there it is. Anytime I hit a bump, it'll rattle for a few seconds
