I am going and am going to be racing my friend in his girls stock 95ex(5spd). I have a 97 LX (5spd) w/Intake, exhaust, & pulleys. Do you guys have any tips or tricks so I can gain some time, I've done street racing but I've heard the track is totally different. I have this feeling he's gonna creep by me in top end

just remember when you launch you have to take off on the 3rd yellow light.
what track are you going to?

This 1/8th mile track called Wareshoals (that's how it sounds) in S.C. . People are telling me I can launch harder than what I do on the street. Yeah I've known about the light, it just seems wierd though like your gonna red light. I liked it on the street with the flashlights, I could always get people off the line, but w/the tree it seems like you can "cheat" a little.

Make sure you don't burn the tires when launching. I see people who get the rpm's to high and just spin the tires which adds some time.
