In the market for lowering springs and found some really good deals just asking for some input on some DONT buys.. or maybe some positive input on manufacturers LISTED....For now going to use stock strutshocks at all four corners may upgrade later but anyone with input on ridability on stockers helpful too....Any help wanted.. P.S. only looking for about a 2'' drop.....

H.P.Motorsport 2.0 to 2.25'' tested at 1.75 to 2.0''for $110
Suspension Techniques 1.75 to 2.0'' for $100
Skunk2 2.0 to 2.25'' for $120

any help please!!!!

by the way also found some sprint springs for 1oo bucks some drop rate
I have heard sprint springs are crap and that they sag.
With that drop you really should get new shocks...
With any of those (especially the Skunk2s) I would be surprised if your stock shocks lasted a year.

Of those I would prolly go with the Suspension Techniques springs.
skunk2;s will MURDER stock shocks.
my friend has some sprint springs xtreme springs and they are some good springs.
I dont know how to end this thread..Thanx for the input but I just went ahead and ordered the neuspeed sports and koni yellows since all my other suspension mods are neuspeed also but thanx

peace.....

That is a very fine choice. I am sure Junglistgsr will agree with me on this one.
i have been running eibach sportlines on the '97 lude with stock struts and havent had a problem yet... almost 5-6 months
That is probably because Eibach is starting to go with softer and softer spring rates (the Pro-kit for the Prelude actually has a front spring rate lower than the front spring rate for the Integra Pro-kit). Also, you may be wearing them out but just haven't noticed a change yet...if you bounce up and down more than 2 times your shocks are dying. My setup, when I hit a bump, the springs compress to make it over the bump, then rebound, then return to normal (that's hitting a speed bump at 25mph).
Honestly...eibach springs suck for preludes...I tried putting some eibach sportlines in and it couldn't hold the weight. there are a lot of mfg spring company's that don't make good springs for the prelude...as well as the pro kit not being a 1.4 inch drop for the prelude...more like a 2 inch drop. they really screwed up with their springs....I think H&R are pretty good. I honestly would go with tein:)
