do any of you bring in your accord to the dealer for these recommended maintenance schedule service?

at $415 for a 30K Maintenance Interval, i don't think so. all that is needed is the tranny to be serviced, oil change. they check out the suspension parts as well & fuel system & body panels, but i ain't paying that much. look for a Dealer Alternative in the phone book, usually 10-15% less.

also coolant flush and maybe valves adjusted...but valves are usually done at 60k

This might be a dumb question, but when the valves are adjusted, does that hurt the performance of the car???
