What kind of tanabe? From what I hear, the racing medallion sounds like a weedwacker. As for the g-power, the only time i remember hearing it was on this one guy's Eclipse. Sounded hella nice, but I dunno how they would sound on civics....I'm also looking at the Greddy and Tanabe, but at the SP and g-power. Lemme know how you like either exhaust if you decide to get one.

I have the Tanabe G power medallion on my car. Second cat back system. Due to a generous size muffler and length, the sound is quiet at idle and becomes deeper when the throttle is open up and quite loud when Vtec kicks in. I like it. Performance wise is probably not as good as my old RSR system that was rusted out. Although I did not compare them on a dyno. The Hyper Medallion should have the same sound but will be cheaper due to the single wall tip design.

Greddy all the way

The Greddy evo is considered rice by some, but it has a smooth sound and is very effective, the tanabe on the other hand is obnoxious as hell and has a bottleneck in it wher it decreases in size. That is turd my friend.

honestly, i dont understand why everyone gets so hung up on sound and interested in getting a weak-assed exhaust, instead of spending a little more dough and getting an all around ballsier and powerful one, such as the HKS hiper, which i am equipped with right now. IMO, tanabe and greddy are way played out and very comparable to a bee buzzing on by. Spend a little cash my friends, you wont regret it.

I've owned the Greddy SP and MX go Greddy and you'll get nice sound and also notice the power difference. The cops are more likely to notice you if you go Tanabe RM. I dont know about the other Tanabe exhaust. Greddy also stands by their warranty. Trust me on that!
