i hear that greddy's wastgates are internal and that internal wastegates don't function/flow as well as external wastegates such as the drag's. is there a different exaust manifold you can use too get an external wastegate? thanx for the help

The Greddy kit does use an internal wastegate, but the kit is designed to run a fairly low boost level. An external wastegate is helpful when you decide that you need to increase your boost pressure, at which time an internal wastegate might leak, creep, or otherwise malfunction. I know that Drag and F-Max both sell turbo manifolds that allow you to use an external wastegate, however you won't be able to use the turbocharger that comes with the Greddy kit with either of those manifolds.

Greddy is a pretty large company, with quite a bit of R&D under its belt. They're not going to sell you something that's "bad" or doesn't work right. If you really have questions about their kit, give 'em a call - they'll be more than happy to tell you all you want to know.
