They are sleeves.
Full coilovers are better but cost a lot more.
Full coils ride the best, but I've heard GC's are not that bad at all.
As far as lowering it, I heard you have to jack the car up. The ads are a crock of $hit!!

I am most likely grabbing GC's in the near future :)

full coils are hands down better than coilover sleeves...which is what ground controls are, just the sleeves...however one of the ONLY companies to buy sleeves from is ground control, most other companies make shitty stuff that you will hate or have issues with.

I am kind of a newbie when it comes to doing stuff with cars and last night I lowered my car (got new springs). I just started taking shit apart and it worked somehow :p . It's really simple to change, the hardest part I found was getting the spring off the shock and that was only because I didn't have the proper tool (no Allan wrench :() so I had to improvise.

If I could do it, YOU CAN DO IT. ;)

Man, that is amazing that you can do that with no knowledge

We had the shop manual out the entire time :p It was a piece of cake though ;)

I have Ground Controls.. You do have to jack up the corner of the car you're trying to lower.. I actually haven't tried to do it with the car on the ground, but I'm assuming it would be difficult.. With the corner jacked up, it's extremely easy to adjust the height though.. Just loosen the lock nut, rotate the perch up or down and tighten the lock nut back up.. :)
