God i feel stupid asking this question. But if there is such thing like ls/vtec couldn't there be a gs/vtec, or would that basicly be an gsr?

yes, you can do an ls/vtec on a gs motor, basically all your doing is adding the vtec to your motor.
do a search for ls/vtec, there is a post of the same name, with TONS of info on the conversion.

BTW... a gs,rs motor is basically a ls motor. What you're goin to do is mate your existing block with a VTEC head. *More info supplied with the link above.

the ls/vtec is basically a 2G/3G RS,LS,GS Teg Motor. all the none vtec b18 motors are known today as an LS. I am sorry if i don't have the exact details on why everybody calls it an LS motor, but u will get use to it. ls/vtec is also known as a frankenstein motor. if u want more info, check up the 1st sticky, and look up ls/vtec. feel free to correct me, or just elaborate if felt necessary.

machining is cheap...look around local shops and see what they charge.
