GSR CAI ON A SKUNK2 IM??

hi i have a gsr and i am going to buy a skunk2 intake manifold, before the site went down i know you have to buy a type r cai to make it fit the skunk2 but tuan said there is a way to make ur gsr aem cai to make it fit, any suggestions on how to do that? i heard cutting of some sort?

he said to start cutting in small increments at the 1st bend, i think, get more suggestions though.
cut and fit cut and fit cut and fit until it's right

ya i think thats what he said was to cut small, but at what first bend, the bend thats closest to the manifold?
