Yeah, I have a 91 civic si w/ a 1gen B16. I have a I,E,H & a chipped ecu. Y1 non lsd tranny w/ exedy stage 1 clutch.
Now I love my B16 just because lotta of fun reving although awk has no tq. So, I'm considering a gsr motor. Would I be able to reuse my shift linkage, axles, & tranny/clutch. Would it matter if its a USDM or JDM Gsr motor. I will be having a shop do it if I go through with it.
I'm staying all motor though.

If there's any other parts needed please lmk.

Thanks

You can cross ref. Clutch kits on rockauto.com real easy. Just check what gsr's use vs your current engine.

Honestly I don't see why not. I thought all b series blocks were virtually the same. With the exception if bore/stroke. I'm no civic guru though.

or you could just add a b18b/b18c block :confused. why would you swap for a .2 liters of displacement to a new motor when you can just upgrade the block itself...
