Does anybody know if the HID 8000K conversion kit is any good? Are the Osram ballasts that come with the kit any good?
My friend has the 6000k in which they have a purple color tini to it and they light up sweet. Should I get the 6000k or the 8000k which has the bright blue color tint to it. Please anybody get back with some info!!! THANKS

8000K that seems to much ..... I'm pretty sure you would be happy with 6000k I wouldn't go with 8000k .... I din't even know they make them

yeah let other people test it out first.

I got some 6000k which are the purple, and look really nice, but are dimmer then 4300k (white ones) the 8000k might be even dimmer then the 6000 though. not sure, but i think the k measures colors

mr99accordv6: hey if you do get them let us know what they are like....i think 4300k and 6000k and 8000k has nothing to do with power it outputs ....its all about what color it outputs....thats why 4300 is white...whereas 6000 is more blue...i would expect 8000 to be really dark blue ...

yeah i think its just company's tryin to boast with higher numbers. i wouldnt buy it unless you see it on someone elses car


My hid is K2 6000k, purplish. i'm waiting for a new ballast right now so only one is in, and it is aimed kinda low

theres no guarantee that they will stay purple, after awhile i think they actually turn kinda whitish with purple tint after awhile
