ohh this happened to my friend with his dakota...


what happened was is he broke every bit in his rear end... i forget what all the pieces are... but he had it in neutral, started it up to see if we could hear clicking... he had it in neutral and the tires spun... and when he put it into first, itd sould like its grinding... so basicly what im saying is its ur transmission, because he did a burnout when the problem happened, so he got that replaced, and his rear end... but the rear end isnt ur problem its ur transmission. Id get that checked out... :)

yes i'm sure. but then i've never tried it. but i know on automatics it does even when its in neutral. its just when there is no load on the tires the rtation of the tranny still gets partially transmitted to the axels because they have a similar frequency of rotation.
