cannot decide between ZEX and one of these engines (non-vetc). Zex will probably put out little more hp, but i still know if either (zex or swap) would be worth the money. any opinions?
i know my f22 tranny will fit the h23 motor, but will i limit my hp if stick with my f22 tranny (insted of using the h23 tranny) on the new motor?

also, can i expect a decent hp gain by throwing a h23 tranny on my f22a1? i might go with the tranny and zex instend of the swap.

I knew of at least one guy that was running an h23 with a stock auto tranny and ecu. With an 80 shot direct port he was pushing oabout 230 hp to the wheels. He was good enough for a 13.75 at the track. He got the engine for like $500 and that nitrous setup runs about $700. A S-AFC to control fuel and some dyno time made a huge difference in his dynos.
