i have a 93 civic hatchback cx 5speed.
wit tanabe R/M exhaust, short rim intake
and this one dude just moved into the block has
a 2000 teg gs auto 4dr it looks pretty nice with the
voltage blue color.
he got aem cold air intake and Greddy evolution exhaust.
i plan to race him sometime.
who would win if we race????????

The teg will most likely beat you:

HP:Weight ratio...

Your car is light but is powered by a SOHC...I'm not saying they are slow because I use to have this engine in my hatch and it got up and went...

but, the teg has a DOHC but weighs a little bit more, but in my opinion... he will pull on you.

I agree with the 50/50.....

I've seen some nice rides poorly driven.

But any race him for the heck of it, who knows....maybe its not running any good and its just cosmetics.

but remember the specs on the teg. If you can, check that guy around, check out the performance on the teg.

I think some of you are forgeting that his '93 civic is a cx w/ a whoping 70 flywheel hp.
5sp or auto, it doesnt matter, the teg will win.

Yah, you're little CX is lacking in the HP department. The one advantage you have over him is you can stretch out each gear to the max, while his auto shifts nice and low. He'll most likely win.

My car used to have the cx motor in it and let me tell you, that was one guttless turd! If the guy in the teg knows how to push the pedal all the way down, the civic will lose.

the integra will eat you alive....you will probably take off a little bit faster but once he gets on second gear he'll dog you like there is no tomorrow....also remember he's shit is 2000, brand new engine...so in my opinion you'll be looking at his license plate most of the time....

At the very least, I'd rather have the Cx though.
