Lookin to buy a Honda/acura. Found a 98 civic hatch dx with only 50k miles, silver, 5 spd (Washington state) although it has a theft recovery/rebuilt title.

Is it harder to title one of those or is it not that big of a deal?

Anyways it has a full tokico blue suspension and VIS carbon fiber hood and spoiler. Also looks like there is some sort of non-painted lip. Riding on rota slips, but he’s gonna take those off. Selling it for $6000 with all that on, or stock for $5500. But he will also include the stock hood (dent) and a brand new clutch (not installed)

Anyways is this a good deal?? Is the theft recovery title/rebuilt a big deal?

excellent condition with a CLEAN title, maybe, but thats pretty steep for a theft/salvage title.

Yeah, not that smokin of a deal. There's not alot of expensive mods or a swap in there or anything to offset the rebuilt title. Everything he's got on there costs around $1000-1500 total, new and at retail price. You can get clean swapped hatches for that price that aren't salvaged.
