HI,

Looking to add headers to the 98. 4-1? 4-2-1? 1 piece? 2 piece? ceramic? stainless? What kind of gains can i expect? will the exhaust be "too" loud. i emailed dc sports but they never wrote back. Is there a particular brand thats better than another? thanks.

4-1 is best for max hp between the both
and stainless is better then ceramic

Don't think they make a 4-1 header for the 5th gen. Cheapest would be DC, best for NA would be Mugen (1 grand), best for FI would be JUN(5-6 hundred), if you can find one.

4-2-1. there are only a few 4-1 headers produced for preludes because they just dont gain as well

1 piece or 2 piece doesnt really matter but you will get very slightly better gains from 1 piece

get ceramic...its slightly cheaper and doesnt rust or look funny like SS.

dc sports is best for midrange power...greddy is also good but im pretty sure they dont make a header for 5th gens
