I was wondering how much of a gain I could expect with headwork done to a b16a3? Also will the head work be smog legal? I know there are different stages. How far can I go and be smog legal. I live in California. Would a b16a3 powered 92 civic dx hatchback be able to get into the 13s with i/h/e/tb/cat/wires/plugs and headwork, and still be smog legal?? Damn so many questions.

If anything, with mild porting it will be cleaner..be it mild though...on slicks you might get it into the 13's but I doubt it...most likely mid to low 14's...as far as smog legality..get it refed to be legal..otherwise pray you dont get caught...if you want to ref it check out http://hybrid.honda-perf.org
