im going to road trip very soon, so i need a navigation system....i want some suggestions from u guys...portable GPS and in dash one, which one is better?? both of them are multifunctional?

Not to completely blow off your question, but smartphones are much cheaper and work just as well for navs IMO. And I'm not sure what you mean by "multifuntional"...

ummm no.... and considering in the next few months unlimited data plans will be a thing of the past...time is limited. my iphone can't touch my garmin. it maybe convenient but the functionality is on a different level.
