help my computer is messed up!!

There is a little section on the right hand side of my desktop that i cant use. it is like a 2 ich strip that runs down the side. Like i cant move my windows over this part, it stops like to inches before it gets to the edge. How can I fix this?? thanks in advance!!

Did you try and adjust your monitor settings, to fill the space up better, that's what it sounds like to me!...just try finding the knobs or buttons(whatever) the case maybe on the monitor and adjust them accordingly

Do you have AIM, and does it go away after you restart your computer?
