I'm trying to put on some lowering springs right now on my 96 GSR, and I removed the bolt and nut that hold the spring/shock to the axle(?) and i was wondering what's else i have to unbolt so i can move the rotors out of the way to pull out the springs/shock combo out.

eh? you don't have to remove the rotor man...

you need to unbolt the top two nuts

then the bolts to the lower control arms..that's it.

are you doing an entire set up (spring/shock)? if so, you can just unbolt, and bolt back onto the car.

if it's just the springs, you'll need a spring compressor, which you can rent.

i sure hope you jacked the car up lol

yeah when your unbolting the rear lca's BE EXTREAMLY CAREFUL. I cant say that enough. use lots of penetrating lube and heat the bolt up first. I broke the last bolt on the last spring of my install. And like said above all you need to do is take out the bolt that holds the shock fork to the lca and the pinch bolt that holds the shock to the fork. then the two top bolts and slide it out. You might have to wiglle it and try turning your steering wheel one way or the other.
