Hey Guys,

My computer wasn't working properly and it kept on restarting itself, so me and my friend re-installed windows xp so we can access my old documents and etc. Well, it didn't work out so well because it won't let me log in to my files since its password protected. Is there anyway to get around this?

Do you mean the XP login screen or is it a password protected folder?

hit f8 before the windows loading screen, start in safe mode, log in as administrator, move the files desktop or my documents under your username

Try changeing the computer name back to the one you had it befor the WinXP setup!
