Long story short... We just bought a 97 Accord SE. The driver's side power window was broken when we bought it. Someone at work just borrowed it and rolled the window down, which doesn not roll back up.

Is there a way I can manually get the window back up? It is promising rain any moment and my local dealership has to order the window regulator/motor.

Thanks in advance.

You would have to take the window motor out most likely to free it, then prop it up with something - but i wouldn't recommend driving it if the window is not secure, it could slam down and shatter.

you have to remove the door panel and "push" up on the window from inside the door to while using the switch in the up position so that you can assist the regulator in raising the window.
