ive heard nothing but good things about hid. everybody who has it loves it and wouldnt go back to regular halogens. i plan on getting them sometime in the future, i think im gonna try and do a retrofit w/ some cl or tl hids.

The CLs and TLs don't fit on Accords without some major modification. Its a bad rumor going around that they are plug-n-play.9accord6 said:cl? tl?

Im considering it as well. I found a place that has the generation II hid kit with 6000k output which is what the bmw's and lexus's have for $549. check it out at www.supremepowerparts.com
When I rented a TL for a couple of days, I really SAW the difference between HIDs and my Accord's superwhites from a driver's perspective. As soon as the price gets a little more affordable, I WILL be getting a set.

guess i wont be doing it then, i do remember someone telling me they went right in, guess they were wrong. that kinda sux.Someone with a 6gen accord did ones. They bought some hids off ebay that came off of an audi and made them fit into his headlights. I loved the way they look, becuase he put the round lenz inside the headlight and everything. lates

total install time was just under 30 minutes.....it was simple.....the hardest part was deciding where to mount the ballasts.....as far as heat is concerned, HID bulbs only run at 35w.....they burn much cooler than your stock headlight bulbs.....as far as pictures are concerned, ill see if i can take a few tonight.....9accord6 said:i wonder how hard it is to install HIDs and if it gets too hot and will melt something???

gothybrid your hid's are tite. i was just curious what brand of hid's did you get ? was it phillips ? how much did you pay for them ? and how many "k" are the bulbs 4300 or 6000 ??? thanks

i got Super Plasma's from PIAA they look just like BMW or Benz kinda purplish light really bright
