***HID on 5th Gen***

Was wondering if anyone's done the HID coversion for the H1 bulbs. Theres a groupbuy on www.groupbuycenter.com for Phillips HID kit, it's like 485 shipped or something. I bet that would look sweet as shit. The conversion is plug and play so it should be very easy to install. My question is,"Do you have to modify the housing at all to make the HID kits work?" I heard that with the prelude's reflective housing the light beam shoots everywhere, does anybody know if this is true. Thanks.

oh yea

I got em on my 5th gen and i love em but they are brighter than the high beams. Everybody always flashes their high beams at me cuz they are too damn bright. Its good for you tho, just sucks to be in the other lane. I will post a pic of them tomarrow.

yeah pics would be great... What hid kit do you have, how much, wattage, and light intensity (ex 6000k, 9000K). Do you have any problems with the light bouncing everywhere? How difficult was your install?
can u change the light intensity?

can't you adjust it so they aimed more downward? i hate when people have bright low beams. and i even hate it more when i think they have their high beams on so i flash them then they blind me even more by flashing me. of coure most of them are trucks and my line of sight in my lude is right about even.
hey ppl
i call the place that did the groupbuy on the hid and he told me that the hid bulbs goes on to your high beam slot and you just need to aim the beam downward. but that part about light beam shoots everywhere that is i'm not sure of. i would like to know the answer to that too.
