Just wondering how do you guys pic a mod here, because you like the guy or because you think some one would be good at it?

the reason I ask is because I know lots of guy who help out alot and post alot of non bulshit stuff just to try to become a mod and also because we used to have other good mods here (nothing against you electricsheep)but I thin it woud be fare if they or who ever picks a mod would have picked people who have been here for a long time helping people out with questions and answers and not someone just out of random(not against you either Del la Sol).

Nah, man it's cool, I know it was kinda out of the blue that Del La Sol and I got the mod positions. There weren't actually all that many people in the running for the position. A few of those, obviously, can not mod because they claimed another board as their home.

I was picked because I was already a mod in another forum and know how things work. Del La Sol was picked because he has been in just about every thread, handing out good information without bullshitting. He knows his stuff and hasn't dissed the board.

There are obviously gonna be a lot of other people who deserve the positions, but we can't make everyone a mod. Once this forum begins to grow again, we'll probably add another mod. Until then, we'll be watching this board for those who are the most helpful.

i've actually been here a very long time i think... as Del La Sol and prior to that i was HondaGuy1320, i just wasn't on a first name basis with everyone or stuff like that so people probably dont remember me
