i have a 4 door EX and how much wieght will be lost when i take ou tthe back seat

yeah, not too much, i don't think it's worth it unless you strip out the WHOLE interior ;)

you'll probably lose like a little over a 100 or so lbs :)

Yeah, if you strip the ENTIRE interior. You'll probably lose about 10lbs, IF that just by taking the back seat out.. They're not very heavy..

10lbs is what laptops used to weigh... i'm sure the backseat weighs more than that

both pieces of the backseat weigh about 15lbs together, but then the rear seatbelt comonents weight 5-8 more each. (i assume if you take out the seats you'd take out the belts too. but that's still only 25 pounds, so unless you're doing a lot more weight reduction, i'd say it's not worth it.

for some people, it'd probably be better to drop 25lbs in body weight (theirs, not the car) rather than remove the seats. after all, what's a 4dr without the back seats :D
