I have a 2007 CRV which I replaced the master brake cylinder. After that I found out the ABS system needs to be bled as well, but only the dealer has the equipment to do it.
The dealer says the brake system is "contaminated" and the only solution is the replace the entire brake system.... $6,300 please!!!
I've tried a couple of private auto shops and nobody has the equipment to bleed the abs system.
Having driven it for some miles the ABS is acting up and slowing the car down.
Anybody have a "home" solution? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Right to Repair laws have made it possible for non-dealer ASE technicians to access all TSBs, repair information, specifications, and OEM specified parts. Just call and ask if a particular autocare center has ASE technicians -- and if they work on Hondas.
