anyone know?

I pulled a clip off a dvd I have and I want to compress it down to mgeg format or something movie maker can use so I can insert it into a video I'm making.

I just have no clue how to do this and this is my first time messing with VOB files...

there's a program called AVI2DVD that will convert dvd structure files to avi format. i'm not sure if there is one to convert to mpeg but u can always convert avi to mpeg. go to www.doom9.org. they have the avi2dvd and maybe other programs u can use. they also have tutorials. other help site: www.videohelp.com
