Adjustable height / Great products / Good ride => Ground Control coilovers!!

For the shocks either Koni Yellows or Bilstein HD's. The entire set-up will run you about $750

Adjustable shocks just adjust the ride, not the height. I heard that some will actually affect the height by like 1/2" when adjusting.

yea i just signed up they dont have any apexi ws on there yet.....but i dotn know if i want to save up for rims and tires or droppin it on stock tires....
Drop it on stock!! Rims with no drop just don't look good at all IMO!

You can ask around here and see what people think, but that is my opinion...

Unless you are an avid hardcore racer, and not just in a straight line, you probably won't need a true coilover system.

You aren't going to find a cheap drop that is a comfortable and adjustable. Most cheap coilover sleeves have very high spring rates which gives you a harsh ride. You could buy a set of KYB AGX shocks and GC coilovers for around 640 bucks. Adjustablility comes at a price. Another option you have is to buy some lowering springs. With 17" wheels a 2 inch drop would be just about right for what you are looking for.

Do a search on this site and you will find a lot of information already on this topic.

Jack each corner up and twist the threaded lock thingie. I hear it takes 10 minutes a corner. Not hard at all!!
How would you know how low you set it . I mean are there any idications on the coilovers,or do you have to keep putting your car back on the ground to see how low it is. -loco1-

I imagine you would have to play with it the first few times. But, you would think once you get used to it, you could pretty much get it right on the first try.

I don't plan to change my height often. Maybe when I am showing it off, slam it as look as possible. Other than that, I just want the "0" gap which I will set up when I get the GC's and be done

Coilovers are easy to adjust. The longest part is raising and lowering the car. Adjusting only takes a minute or two. I measure how far down each sleeve the perch is and match it up on the other side. There are no marks, but if I set the perch 2 inches down from the top on one side, then I go to the other side and set it 2 inches down there as well.

My Ground Controls cost me 290 shipped. You can pick up a set of KYB AGX's for 340. You can find sleeved coilovers for 125 bucks and up. The more you pay, generally, the better the quality.

I believe the Eibach sportlines drop civics down 1.8 inches.

So far I love my GC's. I just put my summer tires back on and the first thing I did was eliminate all wheel gap. Damn it looks good. Personally I think they handle better than my Neuspeed sports did. They are slightly stiffer which helps in my corners, yet they ride almost the same as the sports.

I have the full Ingalls kit front and rear.
