Hi. i have the most annoying rattling noise coming from my dash (not where the guages are, the top dash) from the driver side corner... i think. well, its really annoying. everytime i hit a bump, i hear a little creak. ITS DRIVIN ME NUTS! anyone have any experiences/solutions to getting rid of rattles? or should i just take it to the dealer? first i thought it was my euro dash i installed, but its not. i tried a couple things (wd-40 on the corners, foam tape) but it doesnt work. btw, its a 6th gen coupe. thanks.

mine used to rattle too. take it to the dealer and theyll fix it for free.

yeah i have a creak comming from my dash on teh passenger side, i went to the dealer adn he used wd-40 to fix it and it worked for about a week, then it came back. Still annoying the hell out of me

i have that same freaking problem!except it rattles 24 7!!!! damnit i have to blast the music the drown it out!!. i think my car is just gettin old though.

Hmmm... love the sleek look, love the way it rides, love the power... but the one thing I can't stand about our cars are all the little creaks & squeaks from all over the car! I swear, it drives me crazy sometimes!

My AV6 had a bunch of annoying creaks and rattles and even a dash rattle too. You're definitely not alone. I think interior rattles are one of the biggest complainst about our cars among other owners...

Guess we all have our share of these... I have two annoying creaks/rattles. The first was easily identified since it came from the driver's side air vent. When the rattle starts, I just apply a little pressure around the vent and it goes away. I pulled out the coin holder and tightened the screws, but it's still there. So I was thinking of removing the plastic molding and applying a bead of silicon around the edge and then screwing it back in. I've had it for a while and it is intermittent. It also seems to show up more with cold temps. One of these days I'll fix it. The other is with the headliner by the rear window. This one rarely shows up, but when it does it sounds like something tapping against glass. A friend helped me identify the source. And of course it never appears at the dealer.

ya i hate that 2...mines i think comes from the sunroof...usually i turn up the music...I ONLY HAVE 5000 miles!!! and freakin honda shop is too far away...nd they bs alot

when i bought my car and turned up the music jus lil my driver side door rattled...took it to the dealer...the guy punched the door and it was fixed...i was laughin mah ass off

Thats funny, cuz my rattles are a lot louder in the cold too! when my car is warm (the inside), it seems like the rattles arent there...

ya! my moonroof rattles like a bitch! if i take it to the dealership would they be able to fix it? i sometimes just drive with my moonroof open do i dont hear it! it gets sooo annoying..

I have creaks/rattles on both driver and passenger sides! The driver side creak seems to come from under the hood or the top of the dash! The passenger side creak comes from the glove box and/or vent!

i had a rattling noise coming from my moonroof. i took it to the dealer. they cleaned and lubricated it. the noise hasn't come back since then. they didn't charge me anything. the people at the honda dealership i go to (weymouth honda) are really great. they love all the mods i've done to the car

I have the exact same rattling noise coming from the driver dash. Everytime I drive I always hear it, but when I press down on the dash on top of the gauges it goes away. Next time I go to get my oil changed I'll have them fix it.

First of all you people with the cars that rattly when its cold but not when its hot a little science would probably suggest that because things expand in the head those parts that are rattling are probably just loose in the cold and when it heats up the move together and stop rattling. That is my guess. Also do any of you cars just randomly sound like the seats are moving when the car is off. I will be standing next to it and all of the sudden here a noice like something is moving probably the drivers seat.

the dealer sprayed some foamy stuff through a little straw into the crack that the rattling was coming from and it fixed mine. that was a couple months ago and the rattling hasnt come back yet.

Do you know what that stuff was? im guessing its foam insulator? maybe i should try that...

When i went to the dealer the guy just used wd-40, it went away then came back on the drive home, i also notice that in the cold the noie is 10 times as bad. My dealership is mad far too, so i guess i just got to deal with it until my next visit.

Same problem here... it made a loud squeaking noise until I tightened the screws!

I have another problem... it sounds like squeaking coming from the passenger side, maybe the door panel. It's so annoying, and I can't figure out where it's coming from!
