I haven't heard this done much, so I'm assuming there are some major drawbacks to this swap. Could anyone tell me what these are?
Weight? Too front heavy? Also heard that the axles might not line up and that will be a PITA to deal with.

Anyone with more info on this? THANKS! :)

for the front heavy thing, yes it's about 90 pounds heavier than a b-series block and the b-series is about 90 pounds heavier than a d series. this extra 180 pounds i feel can be compensated for. for example if you have a carbon fiber hood, there goes 40 pounds there. and when you swap in the h22a unless you want to do a lot of custom work you can't keep the a\c there's some more weight gone. and with some custom springrate springs the other weight can be compensated for. as for the axles, you will be eating up a good few of those and i don't really think there is much you can do about it. but one thing is for sure don't let the handling thing get to you that much, it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.
