I am a new member, I love Honda vehicles

I have a problem with my Honda Accord coupe. Initially I thought it was gear problem, so I changed it but the problem remained the same. If I put into gear from park to drive it would not work until I put into D3, then return it to main drive.
And too, putting it into parking was not always easy, I have to shake the shifter several times before the gear can be disengaged. Was it gear shifter problem and if, what is the solution for it
