I purchase a b18c1 with type R Pistons.......I would like if its a obd1 or obd2? He told me it was an 1997 which it would make a obd2 but i'm no sure he knew what year it was......I wanna proof my self that it's an obd2 but i know how...Is there any kind of sensor that will stand out from the obd1.....?

this is going in a 2000 civic ex (obd2)......

Please I need some help bruthas......I wanna start buying parts but I'm afraid I might buy the wrong parts....

check on your block underneath where it says b18c1 and the last 2 numbers should say 97 if it is a 97....i think. someone correct me if im wrong because on my block the last 2 numbers are 98 and it is from a 98 type r
