i'm just getting into this speed thing [that means i dunno much yet]

i just bought a 94 civic hatchback and i wanna do something with it before march 23 cause i wanna test it out on the track. Any modification tips would be appreciated.

so far:

b16a engine
apexi vafc
4-2-1 headers [dunno the brand]
steel clutch

thats all so far but i'm looking to do about 13 seconds for starters
oh this will be my first time out so any drag racing tips would be appreciated. PEACE

oh yeah and tires and suspension

what kinda rubber are you rolling on? i think that tires are a very important aspect of your car, since if you think about it-its the only think that is touching the ground(hopefully)

like the other dude said performance tires REALLY help. also get the simple bolt-ons like cai, straight pipe, and exhaust.

Yeah 13's aren't all that easy going all-motor....

If it's your first time, I would go to the track with your current mods just to get a feel for the car on the track. See what you run, then go from there.

In the Honda racing world the possibilities are endless however, the cash flow isn't.

Give us an idea of what you can afford and we'll get you on your way to 13's

i'll also say that if you think your going to run 13's on a swap alone gimme some of the shit your smokin'
with a clutch and slicks 14.5 would still be a really hard time slip to earn, my swap only got me a 15.5 in my hatch, even with the few power adders i've done since i'm still only expecting maybe a 14.9 at best this summer

don't rip out your interior... all you people with that as a "performance mod"... if you really care about the extra 20 pounds, get a lightweight hood.

Carbon fiber or fiberglass, I'm not picky... r you?
