CHECK IT OUT 15" Rotas monted on 205/50ZR15 Kuhmo rubber. It is dropped 1.5" using the Tokico Advanced Handling kit. I have a brand new set ou Neuspeed Sports sitting around. The will drop it another .3" or so. I don't really want to purchase a camber kit. I need your opinions.

It would look really tyte (total sleeper) if you had it dropped more. No offense, but the front hardly looks dropped :( I have the smae problem with my Neuspeed Sports and going to get rid of them for that reason.

Anyhow, that is one hell of a sleeper (can you back that look up though ;)) and would be killer dropped down on Neuspeed Race springs

bad ass car,, if I had a hatch,, it would be just like that,, only about 2 inches lower.. jsut slam it,, get a camber kit,,, with the 50 series tires,, it wont be that bumpy.. I dropped mine about 2.5" and its bumpy as hell,, but I have cheap ass springs,, and 40 series tires.. but think how bad ass your car would look slammed.. just do it..

dwnthehatch: Your American? If so you swapped the Si/SiR Gauge Cluster into your DX? OK this has been an idea of mine for awhile now to put the SiR Gauge Cluster into my 1999 DX Hatchback however I want to know if it was a direct swap? Did you just take out your DX Gauge Cluster, and plug-in the Si/SiR Gauge Cluster, and screw it back in? And that was it? Or was there something more that needed to be done?

BTW Nice ride. :) Mine looks eactly like that except it's a 1999, and is currently stock since I just bought it in the spring of last year. Also do you by chance have MSN or Yahoo? I'd like to ask you a couple questions.

Yes I'm from the US. The cluster was a direct swap. No modifications necessary. All I had to do is find the tach wire that is taped back in the wiring harness and plug it in. Yahoo screen name: dwnthehatch

if i saw that hatch comin up beside me i would NOT see it as a sleeper, especially cause of the rotas and the si lip, and not to mention the exhaust he has sittin' in his garage, when he puts that bad boy on.
i think the "sleeper" look went out the window a while ago ;) go for another couple inches on the drop ;)

keep it where it is....

an excessive drop, or slammed, may look nice in the magazines or while crusing around town on a friday night, bumping your system. but if youre more into the performance aspects of driving, your drop will be far more beneficial to you. you have suspension for a reason. slamming it down will not allow your car to work properly. you never see autocross cars with all 4 wheels tucked. you also never see true sports/performance cars, like porsches, vettes, ferraris, etc. slammed down. pick up a copy of mike ancas' honda/acura performance handbook, or check out some auto x racing. it will change your mind. if you wanna go slow and low, thats cool, just dont be surprised if a stock '89 crx with no drop is running circles around you on the course.

hondas have some of the most advanced suspensions known to man. the double wishbones they have blessed us with work outstanding. sure there is room for improvement, like anti roll bars, strut braces, performance springs etc. the key is to have all suspension pieces working in harmony with one another. dont listen to these newbies telling you different. if you want a fast car, a fast handling car, keep it where it is, or drop only slightly more. slamming to the street is as useless as it is dangerous to your honda.

So do you think the Neuspeed Sports will be too much of a drop?
